This week we have begun our annual Penny Wars!
Each organization has a bucket labeled with their name and a charity of their choosing. Money is donated by the RIT community (Greeks and non-Greeks) into any bucket. Pennies count as positive points, while any other forms of currency count as negative points.
Generally every score ends up being negative, so it’s really a competition to be the least negative by the end of the week. Be sure to come out and put pennies in your bucket to raise your score, and a lot of other money in your competition’s buckets to make theirs lower.
The organization that has the highest point value at the end of the week receives half of the total money raised to be donated to the charity of their choice. The other half of the raised money will go to Kappa Delta Rho’s charity, the Golisano Children’s Hospital.
